Closing date for the online registration is Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. Awards: Medals, T-shirt or Trophies vary with each tournament. Our online service thru active.com is approximately $20.00 and will not be refunded if you signed up thru active.com. This is their administration fee that they collect at time of service. Weather Cancellations: If the weather stops or cancels a tournament, teams will get to select another tournament to play in. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN. Bracketing: Most cases, bracketing will be 2 games on Saturday and 2 games on Sunday. Extreme situations may force us to schedule 3 games one day and 1 game on the other. Traveling Teams: Teams traveling to a tournament that live 2-5 hours away will automatically be given later game times on Saturday. Rule of thumb Tournament starts at 9:00 a.m. and you live 3 hours away, your earliest game would be at 1:00 p.m. or later and on Saturday. You’ll get earlier games on Sunday to get you out of the gym by 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. depending on how far you travel home. Time Requests: If teams have a time request on Saturday we can work around it, there is a $20.00 time request fee that must be included with your application. If you call after your application is sent in, the fee is $25.00 and must be received by Friday’s mail. The fee for Sunday’s time requests are $30.00 and only if we can accommodate. Scorekeepers: Oregon Prep Basketball will provide scorekeepers for the book and the clock, but these are players from the school that we are using. These players are doing this as a fundraiser, so we recommend that you have your own score book person sit at the score table to help prevent mistakes. If problems occur, tell the scorekeeper to buzz the referees. Gym Directions: Addresses and location for each school will be posted on our website www.oregonprepbasketball.com along with your game schedule. Game Times: Tournament schedule will be posted on our website on Wednesday by 4:00 the week of the tournament. You can also go to our website www.oregonprepbasketball.com and access your game times, locations and opponents. You can call Wednesday between 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. or on Thursday morning 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. if you are not sure of your game times or location. Game Schedules: Teams coming to our tournaments will have their game times kept close together. The games will be either back to back or 1 game in between. The exception would be, if your team lives close to the gym facility within 10 to 15 minutes, your games could be possibly spread throughout the day. Tournament Rules Game Time: 2-16 minute stop-time halves Half-Time: 3 minutes Timeouts: 3 per game Overtimes: All overtimes are 2 minutes Rules: High School Federation (wide open) Warm-up Time: 5 minutes Tournament Grade Levels: All 4th, 5th, and 6th grade tournaments are “Open” Divisions **Last 4 minutes is running time, if there is a 15 point lead. Oregon Amateur We work close with Oregon Amateur basketball and their program is all one division. There are some exceptions, please call. For more information regarding their tournaments, please visit www.oregonamateurbasketball.net NO Outside Food: No outside food will be allowed in the gym. Our janitor fees have gone up tremendously, so we are only allowing food to be purchased at Oregon Prep Basketball’s concession stand.
